If you haven't heard of Steve Irwin - The Crocodile Hunter - you've been living under a rock.
Steve put Australia on the map with his show 'The Crocodile Hunter'. The Discovery network and Animal Planet turned Irwin into a global icon. The crazy Aussie was known around the world for his eccentric approach and his in depth knowledge of wildlife.

Steve Irwin visited Sri Lanka in 2003 to shoot 'The Island of Snakes'. The episode is embedded below.
This video is the first and only such video to bring awareness to Sri Lanka's gypsies and their practice of snake charming and monkey dances. Watch the video and you'll know what I'm talking about.
